Sleep Positions

The last few nights we have checked on Wyatt and have found him sleeping like this. It is a new thing and we don't know if it will last, but it sure is cute. Why is it babies are so cute when they sleep?

Utah Grizzlies

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day Wyatt went to his first hockey game. He seemed to enjoy it and the noises did not seem to bother him. Except when he was taking a nap in the middle of the game. The Grizzlies were in the lead most of the game, but lost in overtime. Thanks Grandma Lila for the fun game!

Roos n more

One of our favorite things we did while in Vegas was visit and animal rescue facility. It was a lot like a petting zoo with exotic animals. Some of our favorite animals were kangaroos, wallabys, camels, and lemars.

We were surprised with all the different types of animals we were able to pet and feed. We were close enough to the otters that they tried to eat Wyatt's toes. Wyatt also tried to eat a kangaroo.

Vegas December 2013

This was Wyatt's first swimming experience. The last week of December in an outdoor pool. It was probably a bit too cold for swimming, but we still enjoyed it.

We also went hiking in the Valley of Fire. It was the perfect day, not to cold and not to hot. It is one of our favorite places to visit because of the beautiful sites.

Christmas 2013

We spent Christmas Eve and day with the Wright's. On Christmas Eve we spent time at Grandma Lila's for a family party. At that party we got books, a rice cooker, jacks, diapers, and a Cafe Rio gift card. Christmas morning we opened presents and got DVDs, books, a television, playmat, shrunken head (finally), ivory elk's tooth, pillow pet, baby einstein, picture (painted by Emily's great grandpa), and clothes.

The day after Christmas we drove down to Vegas to be with the Spackman family. Wyatt was a really good traveler, sleeping most of the way. We did pay for that the next few nights though. While in Vegas we visited the strip, saw a cirque du soleil show (mystere), exchanged gifts, went to the valley of fire, visited a petting zoo, played games, went to the temple, went swimming, and lots of other fun things.

Gingerbread Homes

1st Christmas Presents

Wyatt really liked opening Christmas presents. We are not sure he knew what he was doing while opening the presents, but he grabs and puts stuff in his mouth, which worked out well for unwrapping presents. He got a plaster mold to make into an ornament, some hotwheels cars, and a book from his parents.

Wyatt 4 Months

Wyatt is now 4 months old. He is a lot of fun. He has always been a cute baby, but seeing him react and interact is pretty good. Wyatt is a little low on his percentiles, except for his length which is perfectly normal. His head has always been small, but we were quite surprised to find out his weight was so low. The doctor said that it is nothing to worry about though. He still spits up a lot of his meals and he also doesn't have much genetic size to inherit. As long as he keeps growing he'll be fine.

Family Pictures

Our first family pictures together. Wyatt was pretty good for the pictures, but he really likes to have his hands up by his face. It is cute when he has his hands in his mouth or rubbing his head, but it makes it hard to get a good picture sometimes.

Thanksgiving

The holidays are always so much fun. Wyatt got to hang out with his cousins, we had wonderful food, and spent a lot of time with family. Also Travis' mom is about the best cook ever.
