Mother's Day

A message from Emily:
Wow what a fun day! I can not believe how blessed I am to be a mother! I love my little boy very much. I cannot fully comprehend the joy, love, and emotions Wyatt brings to my life. I can say that he makes me laugh everyday. I also cannot wait to meet our baby girl. Thank you Travis for being such an amazing husband. I could not have this amazing life without you. You try everyday to love, support, and cherish your little family. I love you!

Thank you boys for making my life so worth living!

 

 

Days Events:
Travis let Emily sleep in and gifted her with a massage gift card. Emily was very excited and plans to use it during her third trimester when she gets even more sore. At church the men and young women took over all the callings, giving Emily the chance to attend the regular meetings (she currently teaches CTR4). In Relief Society, they had a short message from the bishop and then the women ate pie. After church Travis, Emily, and Wyatt visited the Spackman house and then hosted dinner for the Wrights. 

Baby Kate

It is official! We are having a baby girl. Emily is 22 weeks along and feeling much better. Travis and Emily have decided on the name Kate. It was the girl name they had picked out before they knew Wyatt's gender. Kate is measuring small, meaning she could not be as far along as predicted or she takes after her mother. Only time will tell. Wyatt doesn't seem to have grasped the concept, but will tap on Emily's belly and say baby (and the do the same to his own belly). He does understand that the 3D ultrasound is a picture of a baby. Exciting times!

 

Inside Picnic

Wyatt and Emily got dinner for a picnic outside on the grass. Once the food was all ready it started to rain. Emily decide to set out a blanket by the backdoor and eat on the floor. Wyatt had a blast carrying the food over in his wagon and eating with his best bud George. While cooking dinner Wyatt found his favorite treat in the pantry, popcorn, so that became dessert. Fun times!

Easter 2015

We had a fun Easter, hanging with family and collecting eggs.

Wyatt's First Stiches

Wyatt bonked his head on the dishwasher door while helping to load it and put the soap in. Although the cut wasn't huge, it bled quite a bit and was open enough we decided that we should have someone look at it. He ended up getting some stiches--along with a few dum-dums. While at the doctor we also found out Wyatt had an ear infection. That wasn't a huge surprise given his less than jovial attitude the last week or so. All is well now and he is back to his normal happy self.

Baby #2

We have recently found out that we will be having our second baby 09-18-2015. We are very excited and know Wyatt will love to have a sibling. To announce the arrival of our second baby Travis made a t-shirt for Wyatt that said Big Brother. Wyatt wore his t-shirt and presented his grandparents an ultra sound. For those family members that were not present we sent the following announcement to them.

Spring Break

The family has spent a lot of time outside working on the yard. Travis has been doing most of the work while Wyatt and Emily supervise or assist :) At J&J we purchased fruit trees, a maple tree, raspberries, boxwoods, and bushes. We also purchased our first lawn mower and weed wacker. It has been lots of work and money, but we are excited for yard improvements!
