Anniversary

For our 5 year anniversary Travis planned a trip to Bear Lake.

On Friday, the weather was too cold to go on the lake so we stayed in Logan. While there we walked around USU campus visiting our old haunts and exploring the new builds. We also got some USU apparel for Wyatt. We sampled cheese and milk at Gossners which has always been a fun activity for us. For lunch we stopped at Fredrico's Pizza.
Later that afternoon we drove to Bear Lake and of course stopped for a raspberry shake. After that we checked into our room, then headed to Pickleville Playhouse to get dinner and see a show. Dinner was delicious and the show was fabulous. There was a lot of audience interaction and humor. The singing and dancing was also great.

The next day we just hung out in the morning, then went hiking to the wind caves. Turns out we are not in as great of shape as we used to be, but we still made it. Travis had a rather ferocious brown garden snake cross his path at one point on the hike, eliciting a girly scream from him. Luckily he is still alive after his encounter.

Laundry Room Shelves

Because Travis is such a handy-man he decided to build shelves in the laundry room. It was his first real attempt at doing construction and it turned out quite well. It only took like 3 months to complete everything. Emily is super impressed with her husbands skills and even more happy to have shelves in the laundry room.

Father's Day

Emily went shopping for Travis' Father's Day present on the 7th of this month. As the 8th was a Sunday, of course Travis thought it was Father's Day and he went to open his presents. Who shops for present a whole week early? Emily decided it would be okay for Travis to open one of his presents on the 8th, so he opened the movies. The following week Travis opened the second present, which was the power drill. It was a good Father's Day.

Summer Project

It is summer time!!! Emily received the last of her holiday plaques as a Christmas gift from Travis. They are now completed; besides a ribbon to be hung with on a wreath holder. Just inside our front door we have a cube shelf that will have seasonal blocks and plaques. Below are the plaques.

Family Activity

We tie-dyed some shirts as a family activity before Wyatt was born. He finally fits in his onesie we made him. Now we all match.

Boys Play

Love of Dogs

Wyatt has always loved animals. He does not always understand to be nice, but he is very fascinated with dogs. He loves to visit Aunt Leslie and her dogs, Minion and Dude. We took this video of Wyatt the last time he visited them.
